22. Dressed in Green (Feeling Blue) - I recorded this demo a few hours before I recorded the final version so itʼs actually pretty similar. I recorded the ukulele and vocals simultaneously which I think adds some nice energy to the song. This made it hard for my mate Hayden to track drums but heʼs a professional and recorded a great take. I wanted to capture the experience of social anxiety in this song; bright, happy and cheerful on the outside but totally overwhelming on the inside. Favourite line: He took all of the snakes and sent them back into the ocean.
